Merry Christmas y'all! I am back in the Midwest for some family Holiday time. It has been awhile since all of my siblings and I were in the same place - especially with the parents both present to boot. That definitely has its pleasures.

More importantly, it is the first time all the living members of three generations of the family will be in the same spot. Sister Ellie brought baby Ben up from OK, and my other nephews were already here; so the Grandparents, my 3 siblings and I, & the 3 nephews are all holding it down for the Santa and living right.

Later this week I will share some of the copius photos that have been taken since they are proper. I am working from The Land Of Lincoln for another day or so, then heading home to see those loving kitties of mine. At the end of the day, the only thing that could make the day better would be if my felines could have made the Santa Scene here in Belvidere, but alas, they don't rock the kennel-carrier & cargo hold very well. I decided they'd be happier home even if I am not. Sigh.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to y'all. I am in hog heaven in having all my nephews, siblings, and parents to hang with. I hope this day finds you well and able to share the day with those you want to be with. I am sure you already know that - verily & indeed - tis' the best gift of them all.
