We Interrupt Regular Programming

I feel the return of awesome music has peaked and the end of the arc has begun. This isn't a good thing, but I have no complaints. Even if "indie" is starting to lose its edge and become repetitive (in a bad way - otherwise, the spell of repetition really is on me), the internet itself is finally making music consumption as it should be. It is becoming a mix of MTV and radio, but ON DEMAND; while also, the MP3 blogs make distribution close to what it should be (Hype Machine being my current favorite directory, but they're not the best curator - that title is still in spin.)

So, in order to have a little fun with what's available to me, I shall interrupt the usual and do a little music programming.

-----

So, the greatest video of all-time is still The Art Of Noise's Close (To The Edit).

This is beyond dispute and has been the case since I first saw it.

Today I saw another video I very very much enjoyed and feel as if I would like to share.

The song doesn't do that much for me, but I am gonna place this Justice video in my all-time top 10. The only thing I can't figure out is how this idea took so long to come to fruition?

As I thought about it, I realized how many of my favorite videos come from the dance/electronica category. Not sure why...I listen to very little of it.

For fun, another Hall Of Famer, Daft Punk's Revolution 909.

Hell, Da Funk almost makes the top 10, so what the heck:

I will get back to my endless moping now; I had to share since I can.

The internet is getting absolutely excellent, and I don't believe the genie is going back in the bottle. Hands up for Silicon Valley!

"Hooray"

I hear you...
